Prototyping
While not all projects need or require a prototype, In order to make a 3D printed part, you will need a CAD drawing of your part. If you don’t have CAD drawings, Techstar Molding can help. We work with a number of CAD design vendors that can put your drawings into a CAD format for printing. There are other ways to make a prototype that can sometimes be more cost effective that 3D printing.
Techstar Molding can review your project and help you determine what the most cost effective solution would be for your idea. At some point in the design process, it is critical to put your part idea into a CAD drawing. CAD is the universal language of part design. Once your project has been digitally mapped, it is very fast an easy to get accurate quotes on tooling and prototyping.
